Hi All! Since right around erc 5.1.1 I occasionally have buffers like "#e:offby1!n=user@pdpc/supporter/bronze/offby1" pop up. I still see this in (erc-version) "ERC Version 5.1.2 $Revision: 1.796.2.6 $" What are these buffers? Are they caused by new usage patterns in #emacs? They cause problems to erc-logging, since convert-standard-filename will create file paths like this: Opening output file: "No such file or directory", "c:\\Users\\AichnerAd\\IRC\\#e!offby1!n=user@pdpc\\supporter\\bronze\\offby1!an...@ir...!6667.txt" which will attempt writing to non-existing subdirectories on Windows. Any insights into this problem? Thanks in advance! Adrian -- Adrian Aichner mailto:ad...@xe... http://www.xemacs.org/ |
