Had to retry commiting a few times because pcl-cvs-version "v2_9_9"
kept reporting parser errors early on.

CVS update and commit from and to
:ext:US...@cv...:/cvsroot/erc
seems rather flaky.

I don't see this with commits and update of
:ext:US...@cv...:/pack/xemacscvs

Ah, Lawrence, Alex, I did not even have to type
C-c C-a runs the command cvs-edit-insert-changelog
in the commit buffer invoked via
C runs the command cvs-mode-commit-setup
from the *cvs* buffer on following line:
In directory .:

The ChangeLog (date of entry must be of current date!) I had prepared
with patcher-mail was pulled in and formatted correctly automatically!

This is what I call an automated process an I love it!
