Not sure what you mean by this. All the program does is push a '-' onto the keyboard buffer. How it is interpreted on the machine would be how the machine and app is configured. My PC does the same whether the num lock is on or off.
You may want to check if you have something mapped to the minus (-) num key inside EQ? Does the behaviour change if numlock is on or off?
On my machines, the behaviour is the same.
I don't think this is an issue. Since I have not gotten any more info on it, I am closing it.
