After installing fresh Ardour I found out that EQ10Q doesn't open their GUIs in Ardour 5. The system I am running it on is Debian Stretch 64 bit (KDE 5), Ardour versions are 5.3 and 5.4, both refuse to work as expected. All other plugins work perfectly.

When I try to open EQ10Q GUI, Ardour logs following: [ERROR]: failed to instantiate LV2 GUI

I thought it's a library version mismatch somewhere, so I recompiled plugins with freshly updated libs and tried to use plugins again with no success.

Here's what Ardour logs to terminal when trying to open a GUI:
suil error: Unable to open UI library /usr/local/lib/lv2/sapistaEQv2.lv2/gui/compressor_gui.so (/usr/local/lib/lv2/sapistaEQv2.lv2/gui/compressor_gui.so: undefined symbol: _ZN4sigc11signal_base7connectEONS_9slot_baseE)

Where did you get Ardour5? From ardour.org website binaries? Or debian packages?
In case you get ardour from ardour.org, please read the following ardour forum topic:

Yes, my Ardour is from site because it's paid for (I'm a subscriber) and freshest available. I've tried new plugins from here: https://community.ardour.org/node/13994, and they worked, but an old bug (#15 for 2.1) seems to be back. I experience equalizer crashes again.

Is this still relevant in ardour 5.12?
