Sorry I'm not coming to the EPICS meeting (I'm going to ICALEPCS), maybe someone could mention it in their talk. The executive summary is:

Diamond will send areaDetector NDArrays containing image plus metadata from a detector running Windows to a storage node running Linux using the pvData serialization format (done) and the pvAccess network procotol (in progress, mocked up with TCP streams while I work on pvAccess win32 and think about zero-copy) over 10gbe. Using the pvData Image normative type.

Is anyone else going to ICALEPCS?

   Can I ask that the following be included? 

     I guess I'd ask that the Charter and Scope and deliverables.

     Overview of the parts and subprojects
        pvAccess
        pvData
        pvIOC
        pvManager
        ChannelFinder
        gather?

     Define Normative as opposed to non-normative. Which above are normative and so expect 
     public review in EPICS commiunity.

     How the parts fit together. 

     Status of where we are in each. 

2. pvAccess and pvData basics. *MARTY*, 20 mins

3. Interoperation with EPICS v3 explained. (*Matej* won't be there, so *MARTY*, can you do this?) 20 mins

   Demo of interop!!

4. Use for beamline in DIAMOND (*JAMES* - can you make this? Is it appropriate to present?) 10 mins
