Sometimes, but not always, HD is not collected by EPGCollector for some HD channels. On some days (I've scheduled it to run daily), data is retrieved for all HD channels. I started using the app because WMC in the UK, for me, does not fetch HD data any more.
I have disabled automatic downloads in WMC. I could map in WMC the HD channels to their non-HD equivalents.
However, is there something I could do in EPGCollector? For example, if no data is found, could the app leave the previously collected data in WMC?
As an experiment, I have checked the "disable in-band guide loader" in the app.
I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks
Praful

I'm having the same or similar problem.
I had things set up and WMC kept adding false channels and or changing frequencies.
Re setup tuners in WMC which fixed the problems but now I get little HD guide information.
Although I am seeing some listings added. Not sure if that's after re-running EPGcollector or something else.
I'm on Windows 7, Blackgold quad tuner, Rowridge IOW transmitter.
Any help appreciated.

Attach the EPG Collector log file to a post the next time it fails and at the same time use EPG Centre to create a transport stream dump, upload it somewhere and post the link.

Looking at the log it is collecting data for the HD channels and when I tried a collection with the ts dump that collected data for those channels as well.
I see that the option to disable the in-band guide loader is not set. It's possible that is causing the problem so try setting it to see if it makes any difference.
Check the EPGC log that the disabling has worked (there are a few comments near the end of the collection log) as EPGC needs to acces the registry to do it and sometimes virus checkers stop it working. Also if WMC is loaded you need to reboot for the new setting to come into effect.

Well it's taken a while but I have a working guide. I think some problems stemmed from interference from another transmitter. I think some of my stations were not the stations they should be. Unfortunately I think I live in area where I can get conflicting channels on similar frequencies. I have now switched my antenna to vertical alignment which rules out the possibility of getting signals from the nearby but incorrect transmitter. I also now scan four frequencies which seems to be working.
I did loose most of the data from the guide for many channels and I had to manually edit guide listings and select use listings from broadcaster which seemed to force the EPG collector listing.
Anyway thanks for some great software.

The import of data and mapping data to channels by EPGC into the WMC database can sometimes be a little flaky (due to my lack of knowledge about WMC internals probably) but normally once it works it continues to work.

Thanks will do.
Out of interest mine is now populated just took some time to acheive.
Are you sure the collections always end with an exit code zero?
Maybe they are timing out (exit code 10 if I remember rightly) sometimes and only collecting some of the data.
Thanks Steve.
So sometimes I have all the HD channel listings, sometimes some of them are missing. I took the log and did a transport stream at a time when some HD channels didn't have listings. This morning they are all popultaed. I have an EPG task set to run at 07:00 each day.
