Steve has been doing a terrific job getting this thing running. I finally got it to work back in January.
Thia Monday it quit updating as scheduled. I tried updating the listings manually but that did not work either. So I removed EPG Collector, downloaded a new copy,, added the latest fixpac and for 2 days tried again and again. I have looked at different posts and changed settings to no avail. It always ends with code 10. I do see that when running an error occurs at "23:50:21:755 Collecting Master Guide data" this does not happen. Is this the problem, and what causes it. My listings will be gone today. Thanks for all your help with this wonderful program.

From the log you are getting an error 10 because the frequency you are trying is not producing any data.

However you seem to be getting all your data from an XMLTV file so I don't know if you know this but you don't need to try and collect any data OTA, it can all come from an XMLTV import file.

If this is the case just delete the entry in the Selected Frequencies on the Tuning tab. You will receive a warning when you save the parameters but you can just OK it.

Apart from that, from the log, it seems to import the data correctly into WMC. Do you not see guide data for any channel?

Yes Stev,e I saw that and tried another frequency. The result was the same. Vieving others logs I just thought that was because they were not using terrestial signals.

My listings are all gone now and going down the list in Media Center shows no entries for any of the channels.

I removed the frequency completely and will see what happens with that. If that does not work, I will turn off WMC, restart the machine, and then turn on the WMC feature again.

I appreciate your wealth of knowledge.

I removed the frequency and it ended with code 0. Still no guide listings are displayed. I turned off WMC, restarted computer, turned on WMC, changed some EPG Centre settings and tried again. Ended code 0 but still no listings. I wonder why it worked for a couple months and then stopped on March 2nd.

Attach the TVGuide.mxf file to a post. It's in the same place as the log.

Can not attach file 35+mb too large. I will delete it and run the EPG Centre again.
I sure don't know how you figure this stuff out, but I am glad that you do.
    Thank you.

That did not work, so I removed over 100 channels and ended up with a smaller file.

So you still can't see any guide data for the first channel KCSBHD (2.1) when you reduced the number of channels?

One minor thing to try. Tick 'Don't create dummy affiliates' on the EPG Centre Output tab and see if it makes any difference.

The MXF file looks fine BTW.

I kept switching channels until one said 100% when processing. And I also tcked the box you mentioned. Will see what happens in 2 hours.

All channels show up in the guide, and in the channel editing section of WMC there just are not any listings for them.
When I ren the WMC signal strength program, channel 2 has all green bars on all tuners. Don't know why it shows 0 strength. Same with the other channels I tried.

    Fingers crossed!

Well almost 3 hours later, it exits with code 0 but no listings are in WMC.
I am going to uninstall EPG Collector, reinstall it and add Fixoak 18 as that is the earliest one I kept.

Here is the collector file from this last attempt.

Exit with code 0 but no listings. I even turned off my virus software when installing and running the program this time. Running again with no frequency selected.

Don't know what happened. Not a clue. EPG exit with code 0. Opened WMC this morning sitll no listings. Clicked "view catagories" to the left of the station id's. The listings get fully populated. This was with Fixpac 18.

I will see if it automatically runs on Monday.

Thanks for your help Steve, It now exits with "0" every time.

The Guide listings are probably in your media center database but not associated with your channels. You may need to Edit Listings in media center to match up the new Zap2it listings with your channels.

I had a similar issue until I renamed the channels in WMC to match Zap2it. In my case, edit the channel numbers in media center because I do not like the subchannels. If you are keeping the channel/subchannels you can match Zap2xml data with that. Otherwise it is difficult to automatch the guide data from the zap2xlm xml-file with media center.
