This program is a life saver, as so many other EPG programs disappear or change. EPG collector remains consistent. Steve is extremely helpful as developer to assist with issues and modify code when necessary. I would give 5 in all categories, but it needs some knowledge of satellite information to configure an get the most from the program.

I started using this when MS stopped providing an epg for Windows Media Center, and it's working great with minimal effort on my part. There are options I'd like to understand better or tweaks I might like, but I'm pretty sure I'll never follow up on them because recording a tv show shouldn't feel like a job. Thanks for doing all the work so I didn't have to!

Great tool for cheap b******s like me. I use zap2xml to download OTA channel data from Zap2It for free and then I use EPG Collector to import the resulting XMLTV file into WMC. It took several trial and error sessions to finally get my XMLTV file successfully converted into an MDX file, but now that I've figured that out, I just created a scheduled task in Windows to do all the work for me on a weekly basis.

This program saved me from infitie anxiety...Rovi appears to have ceased automatic Updates with WMC...at least it what has been happening for the past week, impossible to update. And a message saying Rovi terminates June 27 2019 22:00 hours. I found this program per chance, listen to ATSC North American Over-The-Air (OTA) on the east coast free broadcast, and use Windows Media Center as my DVR, TV schedule app. I love WMC. The problem I had with the setup is that the TVGuide file in the AppData file of Windows associated the file with another program which has nothing to do (Freeware video converter). But I had chosen WMC as the import program...so I was getting the data, but it would not load on WMC. Once I found out the problem and manually associated the TVGuide to WMC, everything worked fine...love you guys...where can we Donate? Now, for the automatic task scheduler through windows, it would be nice if it would be integrated to your software, because I cannot yet get it to work with the EPG Collector...keep in mine, I am far from a Geek... Thank you.

Very nice software that just does it's job without fuss. Fast and helpful responses to issues from the Developer - something to be thankful for. My only suggestion is the use of hyperlinks from each page directly to the help files / field descriptions, but that would just be the icing on the cake.
