This thread went off the list accedently.
I am very much interested in redesigning the first interface. But, my
patch was never considered for even a review. There seems to be some
development going on behind the doors.
If this is the case, then why not create a separate branch and
merge later when this release will happen and this lets me carry on.
Looking for a quick and +ve response.
