#1 Customizable algorithm for group status

The algorithm that decides a group's status (the color
of the icon next to the group on the main screen) is
only appropriate for certain uses. It should be
somewhat customizable, either by selecting from an
easily-extended list of functions, or by defining some
general parameters in the Administration interface.
