[E-devel] Ideas on how to work out image formats

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas on how to work out an
image format. I just got my new palm and it came with mobile photo suite 
which can store and display pictures on the palm. The system side is in 
windows but it prduces .pdb files, which can be transfered with pilot-xfer. 
so nothing special there. What I was thinking as I have very little
skills when it comes to graphics formats, was that if I can get a few
points and maybe with some help create a loader for imlib2 that will
allow you to load and save in the .pdb format, which will allow you to
convert images as well.

Any help will be much appreciated.
