[e-users] Problem with high-speed mouse wheel scrolling

Hi,

I've tracked the following problem down to something related
to Enlightenment, since it goes away if I change to another
window manager:


In all scroll-wheel-enabled X-apps, if the mouse scroll wheel
is moved too quickly, scrolling occurs in small jumps with
a number of seconds pause between each jump, during which X
locks up.  It's as if there is a problem with some mouse
driver when its buffer overflows.

It's annoying to remember to always scroll slowly, or
else sit there twiddling your thumbs for ten seconds or
more while the scrolling completes.

I'm running Kernel 2.4.9, XFree 4.0.3, A4Tech 4D cordless
mouse (IMPS/2 protocol), Enlightenment 0.16.5-1.
