Hi
I'm building E17 from svn (using easy17.sh) and I'm experiencing
corrupt display when using OpenGL engine (+ Texture from pixmap). The
corruption occurs mostly when having 3 or more windows open, or when
dialogs/menus popup. I'm running Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) with all
the latest and greatest stuff. I'm not using the fglrx-driver.
At work I'm running Fedora 14 on different hardware but on an ATI
Radeon HD 4650, also building from SVN, and there it works flawlessly.
I know I can use the software engine, but that feels like not using
all the cylinders in a big motor in your vehicle... I dont even know if
this has something to do with E17, could be the mesa driver, but on the
other hand I see no corrupt display when running the new Ubuntu Desktop
with Compiz, which is also using OpenGL to do its magic.
Do you have any hints on what I can do to troubleshoot this, or even
how to resolve the issue ?
