In these lines, we're about to commit elm_transit (also by Samsung, just finishing the EFL-izing) and it's much like this, but more helpful. The elm_transit is not bound to a single object, rather you create it and add multiple objects, it will monitor them all and remove them from list as soon as EVAS_CALLBACK_DEL is called. Argh... by not extensible I mean not runtime extensible. You can't say "I want another curve" and just implement the interpolation of values, you'd need to complain to efl-developers and wait the next version to release a patch with yet another enum value.
