How do I move an xclock window without closing it???
I configure my E17 to use several virtual desktops Several of which
have remembered applications preloaded in their designated screen
positions. So far so good. But on certain virtual desktops I also like
to carefully position instances of xclock (sometimes analog, and
sometimes digital)... I can start an xclock. I can even move it with
the mouse. {sort of!} (took some getting used to the idea of click drag
then click again to drop instead of letting go of the mouse button to
drop the dragged window) But when I try that with xclock (or oclock
for that matter) I can drag it to where I want. But I can't let go.
that is when I click again to drop the xclock window in it's desired
location instead of the mouse pointer simply returning to normal and
xclock staying put (so that I can then use "remember" on it) It just
disappears...
