[e-users] E17 has advantages BUT [ Menu font size ??? ]

With e16 All I had to do was to copy the text config files "fonts.cfg.xft" 
& "fonts.cfg.pango" to ~/.e16 and edit them to reflect doubled font
size number and I no longer needed a magnifying glass when I navigated
the menus... What do I gotta do to e17 to get it to use a larger font
size for such things? I mean I tried going into the:

settings panel=>Look=>fonts

And massaging many font settings there, But nothing seems to affect
the menu font.

Then I tried:

settings panel=>Look=>scaling

And while I eventually got it to distort the icon/labels such as "Look",
"Apps", "Screen", "Input", etc... in the settings panel, neither menu
font size nor button label font size were even affected... 

My sore eyes are tired of squinting. (glad I still got e16!)
