"works for me". it generates it anyway and marches on. for those of us who don't have raster's setup, i think i've found a solution. if you just do: $ touch README in the root of imlib2 (and presumably any project directory) then automake does the right thing: it overwrites README with README.in, expanding the variables as necessary. sounds like raster's version of automake isn't as strict as the one mike and i have. so raster's produces a warning and goes on, which in the end does the right thing, but our versions generate an error and stop, not knowing that everything would be all right in the end. |
