I never realized how "big" E was compared to others. themes really use the major part of that tarball size. for E 0.17 we've moved to being able to use lossy image compression for almost everything... (image-like) and this will mean MUCH smaller themes (at the expense of image quality). the theory is that people can download the "low quality" theme thats like 200 or 300k and if they really like it go nab the 2Mb "high quality" version. > Maybe including more themes isn't a great idea, but how 'bout an > integrated method of downloading more.
