I have uses for it. Other developers wanted to see it also, so I put it in CVS. (Part of the reason why its only in SPLIT, not HEAD). Right now, there is only minimal functionality, but more will be added (see the TODO). The epplet API will probably be similar also. (Eprog may turn into the epplet lib, who knows.) I am working on various little eprogs at the moment, and wanted to split out the window creatuin / shaping functionality. I wanted an easy way to write little skinnable apps (a whole suite of em), hence eprog. > Also using Jam for compiling was a bit odd. I had to install ftjam to > compile it. Maybe set it up with autoconf as all the other projects? well, frankly I used JAM because I really don't feel like dealing with auto*. They are too much of a pain to build such a small project. JAM is very clean and quick. > > -- > Martin Sarajervi > Visigothic: Meina guth, Ikgastaldan aqizi-wunds meina haubida > > _______________________________________________ > enlightenment-devel mailing list > enl...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-devel ----- End forwarded message ----- |
