I often find myself providing email introductions to persons with keys that are not listed on the key servers. I currently use the handy "attach public key" function to attach their respective keys. I would be a great shortcut to have either an Enigmail menu option under "attach my public key" to be "Attach public keys for all recipients" -- or a similar function as a button on the "attach public key" dialog box.

For any errors in key selection, they could potentially be resolved as part of the current process when sending an email with encryption requested where one or more recipients' keys are invalid or missing.

Thanks for your consideration, and happy to provide additional thoughts if helpful.

The idea is very reasonable, and a few years ago, I would certainly have implemented it.

However, today I consider it much better to implement Key Gossip instead, which is an optional part of the Autocrypt specification.

I implemented Autocrypt key gossip in Enigmail 2.1
