Installing Enigmail on a fresh Thunderbirds enables pep by default, hiding the known Enigmail interface.
How to deactivate pep and go back to the original Enigmail is not obvious.
The fact that pEp is automatically enabled is a desired feature. Where would you expect to disable pEp if not in the Enigmail/pEp preferences window?
Additionally, pEp can be disabled either via the Thunderbird "Privacy" Settings (in the Thunderbird options). And finally if you configure any of your accounts for S/MIME or Enigmail, then pEp will automatically be disabled.

Well, how about naming the options:
"Use pep"
"Do not use pep"
The term "Junior-Mode" does not explicitly imply pep. As a new user I would be confused.
