- fix crash caused by formatting of long strings due to an instable buffer
reallocation that did not reinitialize vargs
Note:
- as vargs implementation is very system specific this bug did not cause
crashes on all systems.
- Fedora 64 bit compilations are reported to be critical in respect to this bug
