engine|zero is being rebuilt.
There are several important changes here:
- The emphasis of this project has moved more towards a "universal source port" - being able to work with data from as many different games as possible. There is still a substantial emphasis on Marathon, but it's no longer the sole area of work.
- The existing codebase is being incorporated into a much larger, .NET-based one.
- While support for MacOSX and Linux are still important, they'll have to wait until we find someone better qualified for deployment on these platforms.
- The overall goal here is now to be able to play supported games either exactly as first released, as modernized as possible, or anywhere in between.
