The mplayer RPM is from freshrpms.net ( > http://stentz.freshrpms.net/rpm.html?id=250 ). Mmm, you HAVE the 1.0pre7 release after all. I don't have any idea from where the messages: > Using GNU internationalization > Original domain: messages > Original dirname: /usr/share/locale > Current domain: mplayer > Current dirname: /usr/share/locale come, but they confuse encode2mpeg. Please do the following test: edit encode2mpeg (0.5.2) go to line 1599 and change: mver=$(mencoder 2>/dev/null | awk '{print $2;exit}') to: mver=$(mencoder 2>/dev/null | awk '$1=="MEncoder"{print $2;exit}') Now encode2mpeg should identify correctly your version of mplayer and will not be issuing the warning about an unsupported version (do not add </dev/null for the test). Let me know if it works. Thanks. Giacomo |
