after those application crashed :(
It looks to me like the encrypted file has been corrupted. Trying to access the unencrypted version reveals this corruption, making it impossible to read the file.
I am sorry, there is nothing I can do. You only can delete the file.
How this corruption occurred I can't say, it didn't happen yet on my computer.
I am experiencing the same error but on Windows and the file seems not corrupted:

The file can be open from within EncFSMP and saved correctly, but still the error is thrown... I am a bit worried that something is not going good even if no sign of corruption in the file.

after some time (and copying problematic files from backup) of working properly
problem again occures.
Files are correct - since writeng long time ago there were not modyfied and were read correctly (everyday backup procedure) until today.

In order for me to be able to reproduce the problem, please do the following:
Create a Encfs folder, copy some data into it which are not private, which you can share with me. Don't make it too big.
Have a exact way how to reproduce the error from the given encfs folder. For example a batch file, or a procedure with a (freely available) program.
Then put the encfs folder (the encrypted one) into a ZIP file and send it to me: hiestandroman@gmail.com

i have mounted this volume with encfs4win and tried to open decrypted file
So it seems to be broken. but how it is possible if shoud not be

As far as I know there is no incompatibility with Dropbox. But I can't be sure, of course. Maybe you try to disable the synchronization process while the folder is mounted with EncFSMP?
I am sure that EncFSMP contains still bugs, and I try to fix the ones I find. But you must understand that I can't fix bugs which I can't reproduce on my PC.
It does not help sending me corrupted files, I can't check them more than you can.

I've reformated computer and reinstalled windows 10 , 4 days ago.
And using no more dropbox, I've switched to microsoft onedrive.
Today file again broken (error the same) but different file then previously.
It seems it depends somehow on storage placement ??

currently when I open document in office (word,excel) it is opened as read
only and can not write to original place . have to save on 'normal' folder
and then copy ?

I think this might be an issue with the encfs implementation in Windows 10. My scenario:
I thought this was a problem with EncFSMP, so I tried to use Safe instead (https://getsafe.org). So far, it is unable to read the exact same files that EncFSMP is unable to read. To me, this suggests that the problem might be in the encfs implementation. I don't know where is the proper place to open an encfs issues.
This is very interesting. You say it worked fine with Windows 7, and you have these read errors with Windows 10? Can you please try to disable the antivirus temporarily, or other software which might interfere, and then retest? Please also disable the synchronisation of Dropbox temporarily.

I won't be able to test that until next week (I can't disable my antivirus right now), I'll go back when I have some results. A quick note for now: this is the second Windows 10 installation of EncfsMP that I tested with the same encfs Dropbox folder that works in Windows 7/Linux. Both Windows 10 installations show errors, and they use different antivirus solutions.
This is really weird. My old encfs doesn't work almost at all anymore, not even on Linux (sadly I don't have a Windows 7 installation anymore to test). I say "almost" because there are some files that work, which are only the files that I added in Windows 10, when I first installed EncFSMP in Windows 10 couple of weeks ago. Seems like all the files that I added before installing EncFSMP in Windows 10 (and which used to work without issues before installing Windows 10) now give a MAC comparison failure error. I'm really glad that I made a copy of the encfs folder recently, otherwise I'd be pretty screwed right now.
One more thing: I don't know if it helps, but the Windows 10 installation was on a different machine. But I suppose it still shouldn't behave like this?

So, I re-created the encrypted volume on Win10 a couple of week ago, and haven't had any problems since then. That said, I still have no idea at all what caused the initial problems, and I was very lucky to have an unencrypted back-up of the volume, otherwise I would've lost a lot of files. I created the new volume without per-block HMAC, which I know is less secure, but hopefully would prevent this kind of issue from happening again.
