Hi.
I'm using EncFSMP 0.10.2 on Windows 7 SP1.
It works fine but I can't read pdf files with Adobe Reader DC realease 2015.010.20056.
If I copy the file out from Encfs directory to desktop (for example, that is a directory not encrypted) the file is correctly readable, while if I try to open it directly inside EncFS directory I get an error message ("Error while opening the document. No access" - the exact error message I get is "Errore durante l'apertura del documento. Accesso negato") generated by Adobe Reader.
The encrypted directory is not local, it's over the network (LAN).

Anyone else getting this messages? I didn't got it in previous EncFSSM version (I know it wasn't 0.10.1, but I don't remember exact version, maybe it was 0.9.8).

I'll try EcnFSMP on a Windows 10 asap.

    Hi

There was already a bug report in #42 with the same problem. The "safe mode" of Adobe Acrobat Reader does all kinds of strange things with the drive, which is not supported by PFM and/or EncFSMP. You have the options:

    • Disable safe mode
    • Use another PDF reader
    • First copy the files to C: drive

    Oops. Sorry for duplicated bug.
Thanks for quick reply. I disabled "this sort of safe mode I didn't know about" ...
Keep up the good work, Encfs is really a good tool!

Thanks for the bug report. I have uploaded version 0.10.4 which should fix the problem. Please retest!
