Also I am no more able to open pdf if the file in in the EncfsMP container (latest version 0.10.1). The file is not corrupt since if I move it to a non encrypted location, it is opened normally
cheers

I was able to reproduce the error with Acrobat Reader. I am discussing the problem with PismoTech. Looking at the log file, Adobe Reader accesses alternate data streams and other things, so I am not sure we will be able to fix the problem easily.
As a workaround, copy the file to another location to open it, or use an alternate PDF reader (I tried Foxit and Evince, both work fine).
Concerning the git problem, I was able to initialize and work with git on a EncFS volume, with caching enabled and disabled. Please send me a more detailed error report on how to reproduce the error.

I'm getting also "error 5: Access is denied" with EncFSMP 0.10.2 32bits
Git "could not initalize a new repository" access denied Win 10 32bits, Encfs MP 0.10.2 with
caching enabled, with caching disabled works.

Today I tried create a bare repository in 32bits and 64bits with cache and without and it worked, sorry, the problem must be elsewhere. Thank you
Concerning Acrobat Reader: It seems to have a new "Protected" mode which has problems even with network shared folders. Please try deactivating the protected mode, or use another PDF viewer.

Thanks for the bug report. I have uploaded version 0.10.4 which should fix the problem. Please retest!
Sorry I get the same errors.
