Would it be possible to implement the mounting as an actual drive instead of a network mount?
The latter causes for example Powershell to always pop up a warning about these local files being from the internet. Normally you would add such a drive to trusted zones or unblock files via file properties (or add a policy to trust the drive), but this does not seem to be possible with the kind of mount EncFSMP creates.
I know this might be a borderline case, but it would be a big boon to IT Pros who are very likely to among other things keep powershell scripts in the encfs drive. It's such a hassle to click the popup/agree to launch every time I want to iterate a test on one of my scripts, and this is currently just about the only thing encfs4win does better than EncFSMP at the moment.
I am relying on PismoFileMount (PFM) for mounting the virtual filesystem. The most recent update of PFM mounts not only a network share, but the filesystem is also mounted on C:\Volumes\mountname. When files are accessed via this path, they appear like local files. I hope this will solve your issue.
Expect the newest PFM version in the next EncFSMP release.
That's awesome news! That's a great feature and should solve the issue
nicely.
