#94 install problem with debian and audigy  Edit

Please help a poor newbie, i'm trying to install the
emu10k1 driver, make runs fine, but when I run 'make
install', i get the error:

depmod: Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/sound/ac_97codec.o

/lib/modules/2.4.20/kernel/drivers/sound/emu10k1/emu10k1.o

I'm runnning kernel 2.4.18-5 686

    Do you have installed the kernel-source? Are they in or linkt
    at /usr/src/linux ?

    Do you run 'make' two times? 1st setup some config (kernel-
    sources), 2nd compile the driver.
