When unloading the modules again and using modprobe instead of insmod lsmod shows also that both modules where loaded, but the sound does still not work. I think the insmod error was, like you said before because of the wrong order the modules were loaded, but the reason why i can't still hear anything must be some sort of driver bug or the problem with not being able to use the emu-config tools to change the volume level or something like that. I also tried to increase the volume level via kmixer, kmixer seemed to work but i can't still hear anything. Arts the KDE sound demon has also problems finding a sound device, althouh the emu10k1 driver modules are loaded. Best Regards, Oliver C. |
