Co PLOT: when you read the scroll of fireball, your magic staff reappears, er, magically. But also, you can now fire 3 ice blasts at a shot as well. If possible, upgrading the ice spell should probably come from a separate discovery. And why did reading that scroll open the door to the Sorcerer's Cavern?
TOFIX: change the weapon physics for this level, and possibly subsequent levels, so the burst count of the staff second trigger is 0. Change the terminals to indicate the Sorcerer's Cavern is protected by magic that bars entry from those without the requisite magical powers (i.e., the staff/spell of fireball). Add terminal text in one of the next few levels to formally give the player the triple ice-blast spell. Lastly, it would make more sense for reading the scroll to open up the nearby room with the staffs (as it does now), and let the player grab a new staff him/herself, rather than having one appear in his/her hands.
