The site has some content for would-be contributors and details on trunk/branch maint, making private builds, etc.

More significantly, the site generation is now done via Apache Forrest. It is quite a buggy tool, but this option is better than the homegrown hackery I had before.

Forrest's capabilities of processing DocBook content are limited to impractically simple content, so the user docs are produced via yet another separate build. However, both user docs and site content builds have been made disk-position-independent and are nearly ready for their first CVS checkin.
