I hate to make it seem like I am a stickler for money, but I have college to pay for so this program has become a low priority. So until I either get a full-ride scholarship, I doubt very much that I will be able to work on the project much without donations as an excuse.
However, I did look into Java3D and did some testing, a 3D interactive model can be designed. Anyone familiar with the Mechanical Universe Series (CalTech) will know that it took help from NASA's JPL to generate those graphics and that took serious rendering time. Today, however, we can generate those graphics almost instantaneiously meaning that it is very possible to create a small universe where direct interaction can be achieved. We can thank our gamer-friends for the amazing graphics abilities now possible. It may even be possible to add in some serious B fields and plot position of particles in 3d based on initial velocity with this technology. The possibilities are there and they're exciting.
The project is all up and running. Have fun. If anyone wants to tinker with it, just notify me and I'll pop you onto the developers pane and you can play with the actual program and all. Or you can send in patches, whatever. Hope you all benefit from this, have a great summer.
