The Embedded Debian Project is pleased to announce the availability of the first of a series of DEVELOPMENT releases of CML2+OS, a system for the configuration and generation of both a Linux kernel *AND* an operating system (i.e. root filesystem). CML2+OS is being designed to assist embedded Linux developers in configuring and generating small (1 to 10Mb) Linux target systems.
A support request [#104463] to have a subdirectory of the CVS repository deleted
resulted in the ENTIRE emdebian repository being mistakenly hosed. A support request
to restore the repository has been submitted [#104478].
The first *test* release of Embedded Debian Cross Development Environments is now available at http://www.emdebian.org. Read the Debian press release at http://www.debian.org/Lists-Archives/debian-news-00/msg00021.html
I'm pleased to introduce the Embedded Debian Project.
The goal of the Embedded Debian Project is to make Debian GNU/Linux a natural choice for embedded Linux.
