emcsh.cc is coming from emc1, it should have a note saying "based on works by Will Shackleford and Fred Proctor" they are the original authors afaik. If you're commiting to TRUNK, and think this an improvement, then you can safely go ahead and commit. The beauty with CVS is, that if it breaks, we can always go back.
