The motor is Baumüller servo, original as it was on this Reis RV6 robot. 
The original drive has 10A writing on it.
Specs from the servo motor nameplate:
Type = DSG 56-M
3.6kW
S = 3-40%
4000 1/min
I0 = 16.6A
M0 = 7Nm

I changed nvmaxcurrent parameter using setsserial to 3000. Maybe I 
should power off the 8i20 board before testing new value?
