I am trying to set up 8i20 for axis 2 (the most powerful motor) of puma type robot. The problem is that it barely raises its arm from horizontal position. While it should do this at reasonable speed and acceleration. PID saturates at its maximum and this is not enough. It seems that changing current settings from 8 to 20 Amps does not make sense. Am I doing something wrong here? See attached screen-shot. |
