What I'm going to be doing is very narrow, and intended for specific 
purposes.  I do not intend to make this work for printers and scanners, 
although it probably could be extended for that.  It also will require a 
copy of the board I make for all the signals to come out on the right pins.
Yes, I should document what I did, anyway.  One problem is the Beagle 
Board discussion list has no real archive system, the messages just 
scroll off into infinity, and searching for anything is very difficult.  
Type in a keyword and you get thousands of supposedly relevant hits, 
just due to the volume of messages.
