I'd have to put it on a branch because TRUNK is in feature freeze for
the 2.3 release.  But that's no problem.  I do want to give him a
chance to reply first.  Maybe he has up-to-date code that would be
better for us to use.

nurbs_additional_functions.cc is not in the patch.  It apparently
contained knot_vector_creator(), nurbs_point(), and alpha_finder().

Thanks for drumming up excitment about this again.  I'd like to see
this capability added.  It will need a little further touching up to
make it work with the new cutter compensation algorithm.  Should be no
big deal.
