Perhaps google for the following a bi-directional microwave link maybe
a license exempt one if available
this would internally have serial to parallel and parallel to serial
at both ends, be aware that any loss of communication would disable
feedback and endanger the machine and its operator and the work. far
better to make the controller robust enough for the conditions its in.
