What I'm more interested in is something along the lines of a HAL interface to the interpreter by using something like; m110 which points to a bash script that executes "bin/halcmd sets vacuum-pump 1" Seems to me that this expands the range of possibilities by allowing for some machine level customization in gcode. These probably will not work for timing critical tasks like laser on/off but for Ray |
