Don't forget about the ember-admins mailing list. It is still the best place to hang out to find out what's going on with EmberMUD! Every code change that is made is announced to the mailing list in Changelog format. There are several people on the list ready to help if you're trying to set up a new MUD, have coding questions, or just want to chat. Okay, portal code is in CVS. Thanks to Zane The Insane. It's nothing special, but the team already started discussing ways to extend it and make it better. Grab the latest Changelog for the detailed information on creating portals and the new 'nexus' spell.
