[eLML Users] eLML 5 & Firedocs eLML Editor veröffentlicht

Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,
Nach über einem Jahr harter Arbeit zahlreicher Personen ist es soweit:  
Ich freue mich, euch mitteilen zu dürfen, dass diese Woche eLML 5  
sowie der neue (und lang erwartete) "Firedocs eLML-Editor"  
veröffentlicht wurden. Weitere neue Features von eLML 5 sind  
beispielsweise Thomas Linowskys "Template Builder", ein Google Summer  
of Code Projekt) zur einfachen Erstellung von eLML-Layout-Templates  
(XSLT), die Transformationsfiles für die Office-Formate ODF/ODT und  
DocBook (von Alberto Sanz, ebenfalls ein Google Summer of Code  
Projekt), eine volle Unterstützung des CSS-Frameworks YAML  
(www.yaml.de) und optimierter HTML-Code für Suchmaschinen. Ihr findet  
eine detaillierte Übersicht unten. Zudem wurde die Website  
www.elml.org völlig überarbeitet und bietet zahlreiche neue  
Information sowie Tipps&Tricks zu eLML.

eLML 5 RELEASE INFORMATION:

New tools for eLML available:
- Firedocs eLML Editor: A Mozilla Firefox plugin to edit your eLML  
lessons
- Template Builder: Create eLML layout templates using a simple  
webbrowser
- AddOn for Lenya and UniCMS: Import, manage, export and publish your  
lessons
- make4eLML Serverscripts: A set of shell scripts for eLML

New transformation files:
- ODF Open Document Format (Open Office)
- DocBook
- LaTeX

YAML now fully supported:
- Easy installation of YAML
- YAML-Support for transformation without layout
- Template Builder also supports YAML
- column-element now transformed using YAML subtemplates
- table element optimized for YAML display
- Many bugfixes concerning the YAML code

Search engine friendly:
- Sitemap.xml file (for Google etc.) automatically created
- Optimized <META>-tags in <head>-part of HTML-file created (Both  
description- and keyword tag are optimized)
- <title> tag and HTML code optimized for search engines

All versions:
- Index now correctly supported (including all attributes)
- Icon image format can be defined in configuration file (jpg, gif or  
png)

Print/FO:
- New and hopefully better design of PDF (new fonts etc.)
- Better support for images (especially without specific height/width  
attributes)
- Many bugfixes within the FO code

Online:
- Lightwindow script for preview of large images included  glossary  
and term element

Und sicherlich noch einiges mehr, das hier vergessen ging :-)
