sorry, I have lost a half of my message on submitting,.....
should that file web.xml appear on presentation/bin/presentation/enhydra/config; or something like that?.
Think i'm missing important concepts...web.xml as application descriptor is suppossed to appear on servlet container config directory, isn't it?.
Another question is that I find cross directories like presentation/bin/presentation/enhydra/jonas. It means that it have to be that cross directories in order to allow different servlet container+ejb container coktails?
One more question. Do u know any example I could explore of using Struts with EJOSA.
Thanks
P.D: I 've found "conf" and "config" directories to refer to similar content (the configuration stuff of something). Don't u think it would be good to normalize to only one name "conf" or "config".
P.D2: If u would like me to submit this kind of questions at your sourceforge place, it would be good that u open a forum there.

Correct ;-) Therefore we don't need this file at the container config directory.

Yes, because ejosa should be useful for different containers and not only enhydra or jonas... If you have any better idea, feel free to tell me ;-)

I agree with you, let's make "conf" instead of config. This happens because JOnAS rename their config into conf ;-) But do you know how to rename within CVS?

I opened a discussion on ejosa.

We haven't done this. It would be very nice if you can do this! Integration with Struts in ejosa would be cool! So the PiggyBank application can also have a struts version ;-) If you would like to do this, I can put you as a developer in ejosa....
Thanx a lot!
Lofi.

In fact, Robert and I are studying struts, maybe we are going to use it for Eledge. As we have adopted EJOSA it's straight forward that we need to know how to plug a Struts app in EJOSA.
About renaming in CVS, yes I now a way. I suppose u have a fresh export of your CVS at your local pretty develop computer :-) U have to rename copy the "config" directory to "conf", delete config form repository, and add and commit "conf", but If changes are extensive and tedious u can call for that changes to sourceforge team. They are really kind and quick in doing such changes.

you are now added as a developer from EJOSA, so have fun!
If you like, you can change the config into conf... By doing this you also have to change the xml start scripts, I think...
Anyway, I update the cvs: now you can run Swing application within JOnAS container! Check the dev-piggybank-hibernate/application. Within one script you can run your EJB container, Servlet container and Swing application. Very nice to deliver your application to your client!
-> Deliver the application transparantly to your client.
-> Use the same application at the server-side.
To test this you need to add a small patch of ext-libs 1.3.5 (I'll add this into download page of EJOSA).
Cheers,
Lofi.

Surely my ignorance but Lofi.....
I don't understand why one can find the web.xml application descript. at EJOSA ./dev-templates/business-jonas3.1/bin/business/jonas/conf/
You are correct. No use here ;-) web.xml is no use here... Thanks! web.xml should be inside the war file.

I also put you as an administrator of EJOSA project, so the project is also yours! ;-)
Happy coding!
