electrum

Electrum is a lightweight client that was designed to simplify the use of Bitcoin. You do not need to perform regular backups, because your wallet can be recovered from a secret phrase that you can memorize or write on paper. There is no waiting time when you start the client, because it does not download the Bitcoin blockchain; instead, the client relies on remote servers.
