This may be a rookie question, but I will really appreciate your help. I have a single network file with multiple feeders. I need to isolate a single feeder and add generators to each bus that has a load connected to it in the selected feeder.
I know the distribute comand will do that. but I dont know what are the inputs reqired to identify the locations of the buses with loads
This brings me to next question. How can I isolate the loads the selected feeder from the list of loads of the entire system
your help will be appreciated. If these questions are answered before please directe me to the discussion thread
Regards
Adi

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
The easiest way to isolate a single feeder is to put an EnergyMeter object in the first terminal of the first Line of each feeder. After loading up the circuit, and attempting a solution (or execute the MakeBusList command), execute a Save Circuit command. This will segregate the feeder data by energy meter. The Loads for that feeder will be saved in a separate file under the Feeder folder.

Hi Dr Roger
I have another question to ask about distribute command
when we randomly distribute DG will the Kw of the DG will be based on Size of load ?
for example if the Load is 50 KW will there be a chance that DG connected to it can be greated than 50KW?
if so is there any way we can have DG between 0 and Load kW?
Regards
Aditya

Yes there is a chance. I would suggest simply executing the Distribute command for the various options and inspecting the file it creates.
