I downloaded the war file but wasn't sure where it need to go since its extension was .war.zip. when I got it in my deploy directory I got all kinds of errors on the console because I don't think I had all the services/jars/etc I needed in my server. It wasn't even clear how to launch the thing, but I found some URLS on screen shots (my port is 1099, not 8080). Sounds like a great tool, I never got it to work. any better guidance sta...@co... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Laurent Etiemble (letiemble) Date: 2003-06-01 14:52 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=437455 Hi, The .war.zip extension is a bug on a small number of browser. The real extension is .war. If you put the file with the .war extension, it should deploy without any problems. If not, please fill a bug report and attach the log files of your server. The JNDI Browser is a Web Application, which means that it is deployed and accessed at the port 8080 (in case of a default install). And then, this application connect to your JNDI server on port 1099. I like to hear some feed back to improve the howto or the FAQ. Thanks for yout interest. Laurent. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=455075&aid=738674&group_id=49088 |

How can I do this? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Laurent Etiemble (letiemble) Date: 2003-06-01 14:57 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=437455 Hi, As stated in the JNDI Browser FAQ, you must do two things : - put in the lib/ext of the JNDI Browser install all the required jars to connect to WebSphere. For most of the cases, it is the client jars of the Application Server - set up the connection settings with the correct InitialContextFactory class, the provider URL, and so on. These informations can be found in the documentation of WebSphere. As I lack of time, if you manage to connect to WebSphere, I would greatly appreciate some feedback to enhance the FAQ on the website. Thanks for your interest. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=455075&aid=718840&group_id=49088 |

It seems that some service are failing silently and exceptions are not propagated. Be aware of the following problem : Due to a bug in JBoss, if you register/unregister twice for notifications, you will see that the first is OK (registration OK, RMI Callback created/unregistration OK, RMI Callback removed) but the second is NOK (registration OK, RMI Callback created/unregistration OK, RMI Callback NOT removed). I have posted a patch on JBoss (#642867) that correct this. Thank for interest. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=455072&aid=709353&group_id=49088 |

As I am testing in French, I didn't see it ;). It is a mix between ResourcesBundle. Graph selection must be manage only by the GraphService. Fix is on the way. Thank you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=455072&aid=709319&group_id=49088 |
