Both crashed (Error 500). But they work fine in JBoss 3.2.6. The lookup of the MBeanServer failed to find an MBeanServer (in org.ejtools.jmx.browser.model.connector.LocalConnection Service.createMBeanServer()). To remedy the problem in my deployment, I modified the method to use the following code to lookup the MBeanServer in weblogic: InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext(); MBeanHome home = (MBeanHome) ctx.lookup (MBeanHome.ADMIN_JNDI_NAME); server = home.getMBeanServer(); (This worked, but I make no guarantees that it is the right approach, I'm just doing what I found on the internet.) In addition, there is a strange bug in the generated html for text with links when I run on weblogic. On the "MBean Detail" page, the "name" column in the table appears on the screen as something akin to: <a href="javascript:alert('');">mBeanInstanceInfo</a> (instead of being a label "mBeanInstanceInfo" with a link). The html source produced for this entry looks like: <td valign="top" align="left">&lt;a href="javascript:alert ('');"&gt;mBeanInstanceInfo&lt;/a&gt; ---- Thanks for the nice work. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2004-08-04 02:49 Message: Logged In: NO works well on weblogic 6.1 too, but with same strange generated html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=455075&aid=795605&group_id=49088 |

Thanks Kyle ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Kyle Dawson (kyledawson) Date: 2004-05-25 10:37 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=984215 I know what the problem is. The way WebSphere does WorkLoad Managment is via JNDI links. Every server in the cell is link to one another. Via the base contect cells and thisnode. They would have links to server A. And since server A has the contect cells, it becomes a infinate loop of links. What I did was limit the view only to local buy not going into the contect cells or thisnode. When the JNDI browser is deployed with other Struts applications, Stuts application have a tendancy to throw a variety of exceptions. I looked in the ejtools-jndi..jar and did not see a .properties file in the package it is looking for. The main exception is: Caused by: java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find bundle for base name org.ejtools.jndi.browser.model.ServerBeanInfo, locale en_US The stack trace is attached. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Laurent Etiemble (letiemble) Date: 2003-11-27 01:50 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=437455 The Maven build file has been fixed in HEAD. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Laurent Etiemble (letiemble) Date: 2003-09-05 13:16 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=437455 Before the 1.0.2 was released, I have upgraded to Maven 1.0b10. It seems that the resources are no more properly copied if the directory is not ${basedir}. Must have checked it :( . As for functionnality, the 1.0.2 was a maintenance release for the Web part and doesn't affect the Swing part. That means that you can use the 1.0.1. Thanks for your interest. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Steven Ostrowski (alchemista) Date: 2003-09-04 22:09 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=552047 I noticed in your other bug replies, you want more information: Using: Sun JDK 1.4.2 Weblogic 8.1 (weblogic.jar), also tried JBoss. I don't think this has to do with anything though, since it's not even getting to the point of being able to connect. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=455072&aid=800687&group_id=49088 |

If one put a JAR file containing the Look and Feel in the lib/ext folder, it should be pickup automagically. Override should also be possible via a configuration file.
