I dont't speak frensh too.
I have a similar problem. I set this server adress:
<param name="server" value="irc.german-elite.net" >
this server works when I use him with mIRC. But when I start my eIRC I got the
error : "!!!couldn't resolve server adress irc.german-elite.net."
What's wrong? I have no idea.
I testet this from the webspace not from a localhost.

Sorry for my bad english. I hope somebody can help me
