Linux (and Windows) EIB Home Server / News: Recent posts

"Linux EIB Home Server" ported to Windows.

The (Linux) EIB Home Server is a Home Automation Server written in C++ and published under the GNU General Public License. It allows you to control and monitor an EIB (European Installation Bus) installation.

With this 0.9 release the Server can be compiled for MS Windows, too. It was tried - but not really tested - on Windows 98, 2000 and XP.
The Server comes now with more client applications that demonstrate its use.
One client application, called emailcontrol, makes your EIB installation remote controllable via email!

First release of a simulated EIB Home Server

eibsimulation-1.0 is platform independent Java simulation of the Linux EIB Home Server.
It simplifies develpment and tests of client applications,
because an EIB installation is unnecessary.
